It's Here! It's Here!

'Tis my favorite time of the year again! The "ber" months have already started and before you know it Christmas would be here!

Christmas is my ultimate favorite season of the year. Don't you just love looking at the decorations? All the lights, the colorful lanterns or what we call "parol", the christmas trees and other ornaments? They're just so beautiful to look at. And the parties! The get-togethers of families and friends!

It's the season when everybody seems to be so happy. No matter what they're going through or how hard things might be, people still find time to enjoy and celebrate the season. Also, I don't know if you noticed it but everybody seems to be so kind. It seems to me that during this time, people are more generous not only with giving out gifts (hehe..), but also with giving out their love, friendship, forgiveness, compassion, etc.

And on a more spiritual level, I love this season because of what it signifies. I won't explain so much about it because i'm pretty sure you're aware of what i'm talking about. Let me say this though. Amidst all the parties, the laughter, the gift-giving, etc., let's not forget to give thanks to the Lord for giving us a reason for celebration. Let's not forget the more important and meaningful part of the season.
